Nigerian Dwarf Goat
Dual Purpose Breed. (Milk and Companionship)
The Nigerian Dwarf Goat is a Dairy Goat that originates from West Africa. They are small goats their height is 17-22.5" in the Does and for the Males 19-23.5". Their milk is 6 to 10 percent higher in butterfat and higher in protein than milk from most dairy goat breeds.
This breed is very calm, gentle and playful nature that they have become great family pets.
Please be aware that Goats are herding animals, and do not do well at all being alone. They will constantly cry and become depressed. This can cause a lot of distress in an animal. Be prepared to own more than one goat.
